THE FIVE CONDITIONS OF FREEDOM
Truth, Belonging, Accountability, Responsibility, and Participation.
01—START HERE
The Freedom Roadmap
Freedom begins with what ordinary people do every day. Start with five practical steps—Choose Truth, Build Belonging, Practice Accountability, Live Responsibly, and Participate—that you can begin using to strengthen your community and help sustain freedom.

02—THE FLAGSHIP BOOK
The Five Conditions of Freedom
What actually allows democracy to survive? The Five Conditions of Freedom is the foundational book of the Freedom Five journey. It explains the five conditions that help free societies endure—Truth, Belonging, Accountability, Responsibility, and Participation—and shows why strengthening and protecting them is essential to sustaining democracy.

03—CITIZEN ACTION
Freedom Ambassador Roadmap
Understanding the Five Conditions is only the beginning. This practical roadmap helps citizens put Truth, Belonging, Accountability, Responsibility, and Participation into action—and encourage others to join a growing effort to strengthen the conditions that sustain freedom.

04—CONSTITUTIONAL STEWARDSHIP
Constitutional Stewardship Guide
Freedom depends on a constitutional system that keeps power accountable. This guide explores how citizens and public leaders can help preserve constitutional balance, maintain the leverage needed to hold public power accountable, and protect the conditions upon which freedom depends.

05—FAITH & COMMUNITY
Church Leadership Guide
Faith communities can help strengthen the moral foundations on which healthy societies depend. This guide shows how churches can teach and practice Truth, Belonging, Accountability, Responsibility, and Participation while strengthening their congregations, communities, and the conditions that sustain freedom.

06—PUBLIC LEADERSHIP
Public Leadership Guide
Public trust is essential to effective leadership. This guide shows candidates, elected officials, and public leaders how strengthening truth, belonging, accountability, responsibility, and participation can help build trust, strengthen communities, and sustain freedom.

A Movement to Strengthen the Conditions That Sustain Freedom

Freedom Five is an educational initiative built around a simple idea: freedom survives when citizens protect the conditions that sustain it.
Those conditions are Truth, Belonging, Accountability, Responsibility, and Participation. Together, they provide a practical framework for understanding how free societies remain strong—and what ordinary people can do when those conditions begin to weaken.
Through books, roadmaps, guides, and practical resources, Freedom Five helps people move from understanding these ideas to putting them into practice—in their lives, families, communities, faith communities, workplaces, and public institutions.
The goal is larger than reading a book. It is to help more people understand the conditions freedom requires, strengthen those conditions where they live and lead, and encourage others to do the same.
